Dr. Kevin F. Wilson
We are excited that the talented Dr. Kevin Wilson has decided to join ENT Specialists. Dr. Wilson is an accomplished ear nose and throat physician who is practicing at our Draper Location. As a board-certified ENT who performs head and neck surgery and an AAOA allergist he brings a lot to the Lone Peak and Draper communities.
Qualifications:
Otolaryngology Board Certified
AAO – American Academy of Otolaryngology
Fellow of the AAOA – American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy: Dr. Wilson has participated in advanced allergy training for allergy and immunotherapy. He established the ENT allergy clinic at the University of Utah.
Academic and Medical Lectures and Research on the following topics:
- Cystic fibrosis
- Hearing loss
- Allergic rhinitis
- Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia
- Head and neck cancer
- Pediatric airway reconstruction
Education:
Dr. Wilson graduated from Brigham Young University with his B.S. in Zoology and attended Washington University School of Medicine for his MD degree. He completed an otolaryngology residency at the University of Michigan.
ENT Interests:
- Salivary Glands: Dr. Wilson is one of only a few ENT’s who specializes in salivary gland problems and is trained in sialendoscopy
- Allergy & Immunotherapy: Serves with the AAOA and built the University of Utah ENT allergy practice
- Nose and Sinus Problems
- Head and Neck Surgery including Thyroid Tumors
- Hearing Loss: the Lone Peak Draper location has a full service hearing and balance institute
- Facial Reconstruction Surgery
Personal:
Dr. Wilson is a hard working doctor who loves working with grandparents and their grandchildren and everyone in between. He has taken his love for patient care to help support some of the less fortunate in other counties by doing medical humanitarian service efforts in Ghana, Honduras, Nicaragua and the Navajo Nation. Dr. Wilson is passionate about his family and has even been able to include his family on some of these wonderful humanitarian efforts. Dr. Wilson stays healthy by being actively involved in hiking, biking, running, camping and skiing. He’s not afraid of a challenge which is evidenced by his marathon accomplishments (including qualifying and participating in the Boston Marathon) and an Ironman. Most of all Dr. Wilson is a wonderful physician with a caring personality. He speaks fluent Spanish and is happy to be the ENT for the Spanish-speaking community in Draper Utah.
