Genio

Genio delivers bilateral, dual-sided stimulation to both hypoglossal nerves via a wire-free, battery-free implant, placed through a single-incision. It is powered by an upgradeable wearable, eliminating the need for surgical battery replacements in the future. Genio is the only system clinically proven to be effective in the supine position for patients with positional OSA (OSA that is 2x worse when sleeping on your back), and the only system with full-body 3T MRI conditional labeling.

Battery-Free Stimulator

The stimulator is inserted under the chin during an outpatient procedure. After activation, the implant is externally powered by the sleep wearable, which together deliver stimulation to both sides of the airway. The system is designed to be upgraded in the future without the need for additional procedures.

Sleep Wearable

The Genio System utilizes a single-use adhesive patch connected to an external battery – also called the activation chip – worn comfortably under the chin. The chip is charged daily via a small portable charger on your nightstand.

Genio Smartphone App

The optional Genio app makes managing sleep apnea therapy easy. You can quickly start, pause, and adjust nerve stimulation within predefined settings for maximum comfort. The app also tracks device usage, providing valuable information to help you and your doctor discuss your progress.
