Karin Titze Cox is a speech pathologist with her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Utah and California. She was one of first to receive Specialty Training in Vocology (the science and practice of voice habilitation) from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and then went home to Iowa City for to receive her Master’s Degree. She continued to do further study and research with the nation’s top institutions at the University of Iowa.

She has years of experience in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings at the University of Iowa and the University of Utah. Her performance experience as a singer and her experience as a voice teacher complements her knowledge of voice and voice science. She continues to be involved in research, as she publishes, consults and presents all over the world. She currently enjoys private practice in which she directs and trains vocologists within the voice clinic and helps various outside organizations across the country. She enjoys being involved in research at the National Center of Voice and Speech and is a faculty member for the Summer Vocology Institute. She was elected as the Western Regional Governor for the Pan-American Vocology Association, is a board member and helps head a committee for outreach. She also loves speaking and educating the public with her father, Ingo R. Titze, the father of Vocology.
