Before & After Benefits of Laser & Traditional Scalpel Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery may be performed for both cosmetic and functional reasons. It is a great option when you are looking for a way to look more youthful and/or improve your vision! If your friends, family or work associates are constantly telling you that you look exhausted or tired, blepharoplasty is an effective solution. It can give you a bright-eyed natural appearance as well as make you look and feel more awake. Many of our patients have reported feeling less tired after blepharoplasty simply because the removal of the excess skin creates less weight and pressure on the eyelids. Blepharoplasty is a wonderful solution that will take those bags away from your eyes and leave you looking and feeling much more youthful and seeing more clearly!

Vision Changes After Blepharoplasty

As you get older, your vision can be affected by drooping puffy eyelids. Those extra deposits of skin and tissue on the eyelid or drooping down from the eyebrow can impair your vision as you are limited to a smaller percentage of eyesight. Not only is this droopiness annoying because it obstructs you from seeing completely, but it is also unattractive and leaves you looking much more exhausted than you really are. By removing these skin and tissue deposits, and lifting the brow upper lid, Dr. Swenson at ENT Specialists can expand your line of sight. After blepharoplasty, some of our patients also report greater comfort in their forehead as their brow muscles are no longer being used constantly to raise their upper lid in order to see better.

Blepharoplasty; the Solution to Under Eye Bags!

Blepharoplasty surgery will make your eyes look much brighter and clearer, giving your whole face a refreshed appearance. Your eyelids will appear to be trimmer and you will look much more youthful after the surgery than you did before as the procedure specifically enhances the shape and appearance of your eyes. Even if you are getting sufficient amounts of sleep, bags below the eye can give a fatigued appearance. Blepharoplasty can eliminate baggy areas by removing excess skin and tissue. The results of blepharoplasty will give you more confidence, higher self-esteem and self-assuredness. Female patients have even reported that blepharoplasty surgery has made their makeup application much easier and faster; allowing them to make their eyes look even more stunning.
